Marketing Journey of a Swiss Social Audio Startup

In 2021, the social audio craze came out of nowhere and had us scrambling to get one of the few available invites to a certain exclusive audio drop-in social network (hint: Clubhouse). At the same time, a small but mighty team in Switzerland was working on an app called “Angle”, that took a more democratized approach to voice drop-in social networks.

Is social audio still a thing? How does such an app thrive, and what marketing opportunities are there within social audio? Sarah Jordi is here to talk to us about all of the above.

In her talk, Sarah will share the challenges and opportunities from Angle Audio’s marketing journey of launching a consumer tech social audio platform during a global pandemic and then pivoting to a B2B SaaS company – including closing first customers.

About the speaker

Sarah runs all things marketing and comms at Angle Audio and led the marketing transition from a B2C startup to B2B SaaS. Before Angle, she launched and grew Uber in Switzerland and supported operations in other countries across EMEA. After leaving Uber, she helped Blockchain startups launching in the Crypto Valley and supported Switzerland’s first investor focused crypto conference in St. Moritz and California, USA. Sarah studied journalism and corporate communications in Winterthur, Switzerland.
